About ScreenFinds

You saw something on screen and now you want to know what it was — the coat, the chair, the watch, the place. ScreenFinds answers that question, and tells you where the show was filmed and where you can watch it.

How we identify things

We start from what can be verified: brand announcements and official product placements, designers and stylists crediting their own work, production notes, tourism boards confirming filming locations, and streaming catalogues. When an item is confirmed, we say how we know. When it is a close match rather than the exact piece, we say that too — and when we cannot confirm it at all, we leave it out rather than guess.

Why we do not post screenshots

Frames from films and television belong to the people who made them, and a picture of an actor carries their own rights on top of that. Posting captures would be taking someone else's work to sell our own pages. So we don't. Instead we embed the official clip or trailer where the studio published it, describe the scene in words, and show the product using photography the retailer or brand has licensed for that purpose.

Not affiliated, not endorsed

ScreenFinds is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any studio, streaming service, production company, brand, performer or their representatives. Naming a person or a title is a statement of fact about a scene — never a claim that anyone recommends a product or this site.

How we make money

Advertising, and occasionally a commission if you buy through a link. That never decides what we cover or what we say about it — see our methodology.
