Privacy Policy
ScreenFinds is a static website. We do not require accounts, we do not collect names or email addresses, and we do not sell data.
What we collect
Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — used for operating and securing the site. We do not combine these logs with any other data.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless by design and stores nothing on your device, anywhere in the world.
Google Analytics depends on where you are, and we would rather spell that out than bury it:
- In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, it runs with Google’s consent mode set to deny storage. No
_gacookie is set, nothing identifies you between visits, and we only see aggregate counts. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner. - Everywhere else, Google Analytics sets its standard
_gacookie so we can tell a returning reader from a new one. Advertising and personalisation storage stay switched off regardless of country, and IP addresses are anonymised.
We use this to learn which articles people actually arrive on and what they searched for — not to build a profile of you. You can block cookies in your browser and the site works exactly the same.
Advertising and cookies
Article pages may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Readers in the EEA/UK are shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set.
