Ted Lasso Season 4 filmed in Kansas City, Missouri in July 2025 before moving to London. Five locations are confirmed by the production, the city or the businesses themselves: Gates Bar-B-Q on Main Street, Country Club Plaza, CPKC Stadium, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the American Jazz Museum. A handful more appear in a downtown montage, and two widely repeated "locations" should be treated carefully — one is a fictional shopfront that does not exist, and one is a private neighbourhood you should not visit.

We have sorted every location by how well it is actually confirmed, because most lists you will find online copy each other without checking.

Confirmed locations you can visit

Gates Bar-B-Q, 3205 Main Street

The production spent a full day here, and the cast filmed in a corner booth. Apple CEO Tim Cook marked the start of production with a photo of the cast at Gates in July 2025.

It appears as itself in the premiere — Rebecca loads Gates boxes onto her jet. A 30-year Gates employee, Beatrice Hooker, appeared as an extra playing a waitress and told KSHB how the production settled on the restaurant: "This is what we're going to do, we choose Gates."

Visiting: open to anyone, no reservation. Published hours are Sunday 11am–11pm, Monday to Thursday 11am–10pm, Friday and Saturday 11am–midnight. Be ready to order the moment you reach the counter — staff greet you with "Hi, may I help you?" and the line moves fast.

One honest note: Gates does not mention Ted Lasso anywhere on its own website, and we found no "as seen on TV" menu item. Go for the barbecue.

Country Club Plaza, Broadway Boulevard

Broadway Boulevard was closed for a day of filming, and Jason Sudeikis filmed here wearing a Kansas City Current letterman jacket. In the show, Keeley finds inspiration in the Plaza's fountains.

Important: the boutique "Dazzle Me Moi" is not real. The production dressed the name onto an existing storefront. Several guides list it as a place to visit; you will not find it.

Visiting: the Plaza is an open-air shopping district, free to walk, always accessible.

CPKC Stadium, Berkley Riverfront

Home of the Kansas City Current, and the first stadium in the world purpose-built for a women's professional team. Producers approached the club in April 2025, and a single eleven-hour shoot blended scripted scenes with footage from a real match — including a goal by Temwa Chawinga. Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham both filmed here. In the show, Ted and friends attend a Current match.

Club co-owner Angie Long told Just Women's Sports the episode was "a little bit proof of concept" for women's football.

Visiting: matchdays only. Check the Current's fixture list before you plan a trip.

Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, 1616 E 18th Street

A full day of filming at 18th & Vine. In the show, Higgins learns the story of Satchel Paige and has a quiet moment at the Field of Legends.

Museum president Bob Kendrick has said the exposure was something "we couldn't buy," and reported new visitors arriving after the premiere.

Visiting: a working museum with regular opening hours. Give yourself two to three hours — most people who come for the Ted Lasso connection stay much longer than they planned.

American Jazz Museum, same 18th & Vine complex

Appears in the premiere and is listed by Visit KC among the show's locations. It shares a building with the Negro Leagues museum, so you can do both in one visit.

Seen in the montage

Visit KC, the city's official tourism board, names these as appearing in a downtown driving sequence. They are all real, public places you can visit — we simply cannot confirm that the production shot dedicated scenes at each one:

Place Address
Union Station 30 W Pershing Rd
Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts 1601 Broadway Blvd
Town Topic (diner) 2021 Broadway Blvd
National WWI Museum and Memorial 2 Memorial Dr
Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport tarmac goodbye scene

Reported, but treat with care

McKeever's Market & Eatery, 840 NW Pryor Rd, Lee's Summit. Local reporting says this grocery store was redressed as the fictional "Fowch's Fine Foods" — a nod to Ronnie Fowch, Ted's childhood frenemy — for the scene where Ted works. It is a 25-mile round trip from downtown to see a shop that no longer looks like it did on screen. Call ahead if you are set on going.

Swope Soccer Village. Named in the show as the setting for Henry's youth match, but local reporting says a planned shoot there was rained out and it is unclear whether the crew returned. We are not listing it as a filming location.

Blue Springs, Missouri. Ted's house was filmed here, and this part is well documented — the city issued a permit, residents watched, and Sudeikis thanked neighbours for the use of their homes. These are private family homes, and we will not publish the address. Please do not go looking for them.

Kansas City things worn on the show

Three KC's "Joearthur Gatestack" tee — the design that mashes up Joe's, Arthur Bryant's, Gates and Stack's — has a long history with the show. Founder Brendan Curran has been a friend of Sudeikis for three decades, and Sudeikis wore the shirt on set. Careful, though: the well-documented instance is from Season 1, not Season 4. Visit KC says a Gatestack tee appears again this season; we have not been able to confirm the shot ourselves, so we are not stating it as fact.

Charlie Hustle is often listed as appearing in Season 4. What is actually documented is narrower: filming took place outside the flagship store at 4747 Broadway Blvd, and Sudeikis wore a Charlie Hustle Kansas City Current letterman jacket during that shoot. The company's president said product was "expected to be featured" — which is anticipation, not confirmation. There is no Charlie Hustle × Ted Lasso collection.

Doing it in one day

The confirmed sites sit inside roughly ten miles, but Kansas City's free streetcar only covers the River Market to Union Station spine — it misses Gates, the Plaza and 18th & Vine. You will want a car or rideshare.

A route that works:

  1. 18th & Vine — Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and American Jazz Museum. Start here; it deserves the most time.
  2. Union Station and the WWI Museum — 1.5 miles away, and the memorial has the best view of the skyline.
  3. Gates Bar-B-Q on Main — 2 miles, and the right time for lunch.
  4. Country Club Plaza — 1.5 miles. Walk the fountains.
  5. Charlie Hustle, 4747 Broadway — five minutes on foot from the Plaza.
  6. CPKC Stadium — 4 miles north, matchday only.

Skip Lee's Summit unless you have a spare hour and a car, and skip Blue Springs entirely.

FAQ

Where was Ted Lasso Season 4 filmed? Kansas City, Missouri and the surrounding area in July 2025, then London for the AFC Richmond material. Kansas City is Ted's hometown in the show, so the season opens there.

Is Gates Bar-B-Q in Ted Lasso a real restaurant? Yes. Gates is a Kansas City institution and appears as itself. The Main Street location at 3205 Main St is the one used, and it is open to the public.

Can I visit the stadium from the show? CPKC Stadium is real and is the home of the Kansas City Current. You can go inside on matchdays. It is on the Berkley Riverfront, north of downtown.

Is "Dazzle Me Moi" a real shop on the Plaza? No. It is a fictional boutique the production dressed onto a real storefront at Country Club Plaza. Several online guides get this wrong.

Where is Ted's house in Season 4? Blue Springs, Missouri. The homes used are private residences and we do not publish the addresses. Please respect the residents and view the neighbourhood only on screen.

How many episodes are in Season 4, and when do they air? Season 4 premiered on 5 August 2026 on Apple TV and runs weekly through 7 October 2026.

Do I need a car to see the locations? Practically, yes. The free RideKC Streetcar covers only part of downtown and does not reach Gates, the Plaza or 18th & Vine.
